Composer at the intersection of orchestral tradition and contemporary screen music.
Welcome to Theo Vidgen
From the moment he began composing for screen, Theo has helped directors and producers find exceptional musical solutions for their projects — creating memorable scores and digital products. His expertise grows with each year and his accumulated experience.
Theo trained as an arranger for the BBC and served as assistant to Academy Award-winning composer Howard Shore on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
We're a studio built from the ground up. No templates, no shortcuts — just considered, story-focused solutions shaped by narrative, collaboration and musical precision. We ask questions, challenge assumptions and compose with clarity so that what we deliver isn't just functional, but meaningful.
Recent credits include co-composing the score for Netflix's Everything Now, the BBC Two documentary Football's Financial Shame, and 52 episodes of the British Animation Award-nominated 101 Dalmatian Street. Highlights from his commercial work include scoring O2 and England Rugby's Make Them Giants, recorded at Abbey Road with a 65-piece orchestra.
We work best when there is trust and a shared commitment to quality — building long-term partnerships with clients who value honest communication and thoughtful execution.
