At a time when so much content is created through CGI, 'Grogu and You' is a deliberate celebration of physical craft. Inspired by the pioneering, hands‑on techniques of the original 'Star Wars' films, the project brought together a diverse team of specialist model builders working side by side across set design, lighting and stop‑motion‑style production. Every detail was built by hand with Blink Ink production, with 300 LEGO minifigures being used throughout the short, creating a world that puts creativity and made‑by‑hand storytelling front and centre.
The project was developed in close collaboration with longtime partners of the LEGO Group, the Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm, ensuring the film not only aligns with the broader Mandalorian universe but also honours the spirit, tone, and emotional core of 'Star Wars' storytelling.
